Yuck

Yesterday I had a dr’s appt, which took TWO HOURS just for a freaking refill and pretty much wasted me for the rest of the day.

But, I did get a little bit done. I dyed my undersleeve fabric:

I bought some gauze online for the undersleeves. In some places the undersleeves appear white, in some grey, and in some almost blue. So I tried to find a happy medium with a sort of misty silver blue. This is freshly dyed and dried - I wanted to see how it looked with the other tones of the costume.Kelldar.com | My Facebook Page | Tumblr | Instagram

I really like how it turned out. I just put it in a tiny bit of “pearl grey.” Some of my reference pictures it looks blue, but the straight-up screencaps looked grey, so I decided to lean more towards the grey/silvery to go with the overall tone of the costume.

One very messy looking outer sleeve, and the start of the undersleeve.Kelldar.com | My Facebook Page | Tumblr | Instagram

Then I slapped a sleeve together to see how it was looking. Ignore my ugly outer sleeve that hasn’t been pressed or anything.

Well, my pearl trim for the sleeves is going to be delivered tomorrow. Yay! Unfortunately it’s going to Chase’s office. BOO. So I won’t get them til Monday. šŸ™
